Game Instructions – Steps and rules for the game

Before we start playing the kids game we have a preparatory activity for NATO. Using pictures and posters we are reminded of what NATO is. Through discussion I directly ask questions What is NATO? What does the abbreviation NATO mean? When is NATO formed? Where is NATO formed? Which countries are members of NATO? What is the NATO flag and so on?

We continue with the game.

Children’s puzzle consists of: Set of small wooden cubes (coated with NATO logo image pieces) complete NATO logo pictures.

The game is designed for preschool children from 4 to 6 years but also for the interest of children can be used up to 10 years.

This game can be played individually for each child individually assembling the cubes that will make a picture of the NATO logo, but can also work as a team of two to four children.

By assembling the cubes the children have in front of them the attached Nato logo pictures as a kind of guide to follow.

The game is stimulating because it reflects on the education of the children regarding the knowledge of Nato.

The children visually have logo pictures of what the Nato Alliance actually looks like, learning what colors are represented in the images typical of Nato, what the Nato flag looks like.

The game affects the concentration in the children, they are calm, motivated, the child’s creativity is encouraged.

Children learn and name terms such as STATE, ECONOMY, FLAG, CULTURE, DIALOGUE, STRATEGY, etc.
